Breakup Buddy Philosophy
Breakups are hard.
Whether you were the one who ended it or not, breakups shake your world. Suddenly, everything is in question: your future, your identity, your sense of home, even your sense of self. And it can feel like no one really gets it.
Even the “amicable” ones leave you in a tough spot. Whether you were ghosted, stuck in a messy situationship, or made the gut-wrenching choice to walk away — it still hurts.
But here’s the thing: as brutal as breakups can be, they’re also powerful.
They offer a rare moment to reflect, re-evaluate, and regroup; to look at who you are, what you need, and what you want next — in love, in life, and in yourself.
My work is about helping you make meaning out of the mess. To not just get over it, but to grow through it — wiser, clearer, and more you than ever before.
I’m not your therapist.
I’m your Breakup Buddy.
The one who sits with you
on the floor while you cry.
The one who walks beside
you (literally, if we’re in the
same city).
The one who listens — yes, even when you need to tell the same story for the 528th time.
Together, we process what happened, sit with the grief, and start building new ground under your feet. We’ll reflect, reframe, and help you reclaim your energy and self-worth — one step at a time.
Sometimes that looks like clarity sessions. Sometimes it looks like coaching. Sometimes it’s about making space to feel, and then figuring out what’s next.
I'm here to walk with you through this rough patch — not just to talk about what happened, but to help you understand your patterns, re-center your self-worth, and figure out what comes next. You get to fall apart a little here — and then start putting the pieces back together in a way that feels stronger, more aligned, more you.
Breakup Buddy is part emotional support, part thought partner, part tough-love cheerleader.
What does Breakup Buddy do?
I’m not a licensed therapist, psychologist, lawyer, or mediator.
I won’t give you medical advice or tell you exactly what to do.
I won’t be texting your ex on your behalf (though I can help you figure out if you should).
What I Don’t Do
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Wyndham :)
Breakup Buddy is built on years of lived experience — not just my own breakups (and I’ve had a wide range: straight, queer, mono, poly, short-term, long-term), but also years of being the go-to person in my community when love & relationships change or fall apart.
I’ve supported friends through everything from dating disasters to divorces with kids involved. I’m trained in listening, boundary-setting, and helping people navigate emotional transitions with clarity and care.
My style is warm, real, and occasionally a little funny. I’m here to hold space for your hurt — and to remind you that you’re not broken, you’re becoming.
